Zero Waste SA’s business plan reflects the objectives of the draft South Australia's Waste Strategy 2011-2015 which includes new targets for diverting waste from landfill, and emphasises that further actions are required to meet the two key objectives of:
- maximising the useful life of resources through reuse and recycling; and
- to avoid and reduce waste.
