Jurlique and Zero Waste SA
Jurlique strengthens its environmental message
Leading Australian natural skin care company Jurlique has built a global brand based on an affinity with nature. The company is constantly looking for new ways to minimise its ecological footprint and has now teamed with Zero Waste SA through the Resource Efficiency Assistance Program (REAP). Jurlique has joined a pilot to trial Zero Waste SA’s online sustainability dashboard which measures a range of environmental impacts – such as waste, water, energy and fuel – often in real time. The dashboard is also being used by Jurlique to monitor other areas of the business. Contributions to charities and the monthly training spend on employees are included, and there are plans to add health and safety indicators.
Zero Waste SA is also assisting Jurlique with a waste review and has provided training in environmental auditing to support a new environmental management system.
