Grants Explained
Here you can find information about our funding programs. We provide funding for infrastructure such as recycling and reprocessing systems in metropolitan and regional South Australia, litter prevention, waste reduction in schools and research, development and education.
Our current grant projects include:
- Kerbside Incentives to improve standards in kerbside recycling performance
- Regional Implementation Programs to assist regions with waste reform in country areas
- Sustainable Markets Grants Industry Investment Program, to maximise the use of resources through increased recycling, improve to the quality and efficiency of recycling processes and develop markets and new technologies for using recycled materials
- Metropolitan Infrastructure grants for new and existing facilities that recover and reprocess materials that would otherwise be going to landfill
- The Waste Avoidance, Reduction and Reuse grants, to promote and facilitate the more sustainable use of consumable materials and resources. The program will assist in guiding a transition to sustainable resource use within the economy.
