Metropolitan Infrastructure Grants
These grants are for new and existing facilities that recover materials for reprocessing or otherwise reduce waste going to landfill.
What kinds of projects will be funded?
- Recycling, reuse and avoidance infrastructure projects that improve the effectiveness of sorting and processing facilities or support the reuse of products including kerbside-collected hard waste
- Infrastructure for transfer stations, container deposit legislation depots and small scale recycling centres accepting electronic waste and other problematic wastes
