School and Community Grants
Community-based organisations and schools play an important part in the collection of materials for recycling or re-use. The School and Community Grants Program aims to assist these organisations in diverting materials from landfill and to encourage sustainable waste management and recycling behaviour and practices, with benefits extending to the wider community.
Who can apply: Charities, community groups, service clubs, not for profit organisations involved in the recovery or recycling of re-usable resources. Schools that have attended workshops for Zero Waste SA’s Wipe Out Waste program.
Funds available: A maximum of $20,000 per project.
Status: Closed - a new round will be announced in early 2012
