Resource Efficiency And Productivity (REAP) Grants

Funding available: up to $10,000 in matched (1:1) funding for a resource efficiency and productivity assessment, plus $10,000 to kick-start implementation of eligible recommendations (a total of up to $20,000 per applicant).

Who is eligible? Businesses in South Australia.

What kind of projects are eligible?

  • Eligible projects are ones that:
    • identify and prioritise opportunities for improving business operations by saving resources (energy, water and/or materials), and preventing or reducing waste
    • support decisions to invest in activities and infrastructure that are likely to lead to resource efficiency and/or productivity gains, waste reduction, environmental benefit and financial savings
    • are delivered by a suitably qualified and competent, third party supplier
    • direct kick-start funding towards implementing assessment recommendations with a payback greater than two years and that are expected to lead to resource (energy, water, material) savings
    • are supported by cash contribution from the applicant to cover at least 50% of the cost of a resource efficiency and productivity assessment and 25% of the cost of kick-start implementation activities
    • align with the published guidelines.
  • Ineligible projects are ones that:
    • do not have senior management or executive-level support from the applicant
    • are undertaken to meet regulatory compliance (projects must target 'beyond compliance' activities)
    • have already commenced or have been completed at the time of application.

Status: Accepting expressions of interest. Application is by invitation, which may be offered after registering interest and discussing your project with Green Industries SA.
